Yom Kippur • Kol Nidre - Sunday, Sept 24th · 7 pm ET 
Yom Kippur Day - Monday, Sept 25th · 10 am ET 
Ne'ilah - Monday, Sept 25th · 5:30pm ET · Catered Break Fast Follows 

All Yom Kippur events will take place at Redeemer Lutheran Church, New Paltz, NY.

Yom Kippur Services include:

• Embodied Prayer / Guided Movement
• Musical Evening and Morning Prayer Services
• Torah Services with Meditation and Discussion
• Yom Kippur Yizkor Service - Ritual of Remembrance
• Group Work, Dancing, Angel Walk, and More

Kids Programming:

Kids will have a special area to hang out with games and art supplies. We encourage parents to regularly check on the children and take turns supervising. Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult.

About the Leaders:

Kohenet Renée and Yoel Sykes are renowned sacred musicians and liturgists who bring new and ancient melodies that are hauntingly beautiful and timelessly joyous. Their spirit, energy, and facilitation skills have united groups in vibrant, celebratory, and deeply memorable events.

Yoel Sykes is a final-year rabbinical student in the Aleph Ordination Program. One of the foremost musicians in the Jewish Renewal movement, Yoel’s melodies are sung throughout the world.

Renée is the Director of Kol Hai: Hudson Valley Jewish Renewal, and has been with the organization for 7 years. She is a graduate of the Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Institute, and spent over a decade on a quest of initiation in India, Israel, and Tibet.

This year, we will also provide an organic, vegetarian meal for Yom Kippur Break Fast. We strive to provide these services at the lowest cost possible that allows us to cover our expenses.
