RSVP for location in Accord, NY
Join Miriam Rubin (Jewish Interfaith Minister) and Kohenet Renee Finkelstein for a ritual in honor of Tisha B'av.
This is a time in the Jewish faith to recognize changes, losses, grief, and transition. We will take a look at the changes in our communities and our lives and give them space to reach us, move us, and move through us in a compassionate, sacred space.
Together we will connect our collective experiences through sharing, nature connection, a traditional reading of Eicha (Lamentations), and sacred songs.
About Miriam Rubin
Miriam Rubin is a Healer, Life-Cycle Ritualist, Purpose Guide™, Songwriter, Jewish Interfaith Minister, and Co-Founder of Web of Life Ministrier. She nourishes community, creativity, and common ground through Plant Walks, Cacao Ceremonies, Song Circles, Drum Making Workshops, and Healing Circles. As a teenager, Miriam identified that her feelings of disconnection from the web of life and the earth were related to the trauma that her ancestors faced when they were forced to leave their homes generation after generation. Upon learning this, Miriam has been on a quest of discovering pathways of somatic and ancestral healing, and re-patterning the nervous system to re-establish healthy patterns of connection to the earth, to lineage, and to members of our human family.
